- There are two types of plugs with ground and without ground.
- In grounded one there are three wires (Phase, neutral and ground). In plug without ground only two plugs (Phase and neutral).
- Again the plugs are two types with fuse and without fuse.
- In the fused one phase wire is connected to fuse.
- To change a power plug take a tester and remove screws over the power plug.
- You see the wires like red, black and green which screwed to pins. Remove the screws.
- Take the same type of plug as the older one ( 3-pin or 2-pin).
- Cut the damaged portion of the wires with cutting plier.
- Remove the insulation of the wires of about 0.25 inch.
- Place the wires in the plug as it is in the pins top one ground (green), right one is phase (red) and left one is neutral (black).
- Now tight the screws of the wires with pins and also the screws of plug with tester.
- Now the new plug is ready for the functioning.
